Notes:

Elizabeth Togersdatter Sabae Thompson came to the United States in 1869. She was confirmed in the Lutheran church in Huxley, Iowa, that same year. She married Lars Larson Jondall on April 25, 1874, in St. Petri Church, in Story City, Iowa. She was eventually the mother of either eleven or twelve children. It sounds strange to make that statement, but I can only find information on eleven children, while her obituary states that she had twelve children. One child may have died in childbirth, been stillborn, or perhaps the obituary is incorrect.

She became a farm wife in 1884 when the family moved to Lost Island township in Palo Alto County. They continued to live there until 1912 when they returned to Story City. Elizabeth became ill early in 1926, and she never recovered her health. She died at her home in Story City after an illness lasting fourteen months.
